We are have a built a platform which focuses on making volunteering easy. We make it easier for current volunteers, whether its the admin of running a community group or managing individual shifts or task. We also have built it out to help people to find their own way to volunteer through organisation and shift search opportunities.
The ease of the app will help the younger generations to see volunteering as approachable to due to ease of search. They aren’t as likely to join a board or committee but a one off shift is more approachable to get them invested.
We are:
- reducing the admin burden of volunteering
- making succession planning and information transfer easy
- improving governance across community groups
- making volunteer opportunities visible to external volunteers
- tracking hours that haven't been tracked before
All these things mean we are building a stronger and more visible volunteering community.
